Kirsten Lewis is the visionary founder behind Vertam Services and Community Pathway Group. With over 14 years of experience in education and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Kirsten has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and building inclusive communities.
Her passion for helping others, combined with her expertise in human services and education, has shaped both organizations into leaders in person-centered support. Under her guidance, Vertam Services and Community Pathway Group have grown into trusted resources, creating meaningful opportunities for individuals to thrive, learn, and succeed.
Kirsten’s leadership is driven by a commitment to quality, inclusion, and empowerment, and she continues to inspire her teams to deliver exceptional care and support every day.
Pariss Samuels- Vice President of Programs
Pariss Samuels, VP of Programs at Vertam Services and Community Pathway Group, brings over 15 years of experience in behavioral therapy and direct support. She expertly designs and structures programs to meet the unique needs of the individuals we support, ensuring services are effective, meaningful, and empowering.
Pariss’s leadership and expertise help maintain high-quality, person-centered care, making a positive impact on the lives of everyone in our programs. Her leadership is instrumental in maintaining high-quality, innovative, and compassionate care, while also mentoring and guiding our staff to uphold the highest standards. Pariss’s work ensures that the people we serve always come first, creating a positive, lasting impact on lives and communities.
Navalyn Bryar- Executive Assistant
Navalyn Bryar serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Vertam Services
Navalyn plays a critical role in staff compliance, onboarding, and training, making sure that every team member has the knowledge and support needed to provide high-quality, person-centered care. Her dedication to organization, guidance, and support keeps our operations running efficiently and our staff empowered to succeed.

Bernard James- HR Generalist
Bernard James brings over five years of experience in recruitment and talent services to Vertam Services. With a Master’s degree in Human Resources and certification as a professional life coach, Bernard combines technical expertise with a people-centered approach.
He is passionate about helping staff thrive—whether through career development, conflict resolution, onboarding support, or guidance in navigating workplace challenges. Bernard’s unique blend of HR knowledge and coaching skills allows him to offer meaningful support, empower our team, and strengthen the positive culture we strive for every day.
